RELICS OF THE RIDDLE "This series of 10 castings are specially chosen by the artist for their sacred and symbolic value to him. Often drawing from sacred sources or myths, the objects have been cast in meteorite metal, an iron-nickel compound which comes from outer space, the origin being unknown but thought to have been created at the time of the ‘big bang’. As a collection of work, the objects examine the theme of the origin of inspiration. Each work displays the evidence of its origins in its final formation. As part of the artist’s wider work, the project continues the search for insights into the mysteries and meanings of life".
